Dramione-Yr 1 the SortingDraco watched Hermione quickly clamber from the boat and head up the path towards the school. Following her silently he watched her look around in amazement at the huge castle. As they entered the school he noticed a black-haired boy with a scar on his forehead and a ginger boy stood at the front of the crowd. Pushing his way through to the front of the crowd he confronted the two.

Hermione watched the spectacle in bemused wonder as Draco showed another side to his charming self. Silence fell as a woman in green robes and matching hat swept into the room. Gesturing for them to follow she led them through the huge oak doors.

Dramione-Yr 1 boats to schoolThe gleaming scarlet train pulled to a stop at a station. The students swarmed out onto the platform, every one of them in school uniform. The first years made their way to the end of the platform near a vast lake.

Everyone gathered around a huge man holding a lantern. His face was covered by a black beard and his hair reached his shoulders. As Hermione reached the crowd she didn't notice Draco watching her intently from the back of the group.

The man, whose name was Hagrid, led them to the shore of the lake once the platform was free of the older students.

'Right for those of you who don't

Dramione-Yr 1 on the trainColours wash the platform of the station. Smoke shrouding faces whilst people hurry around lugging huge wooden boxes and children run about in all directions.

A gleaming scarlet train waits as the crowd gently thins out and leaves only adults and very young children left on the platform. Last hugs and farewells are said by families.

Steam pours out of the funnel of the train as the clock strikes 12. As the train starts to leave the station the children move back from windows and look for friends, compartments and seats.

Okay, excuse the crummy handwriting and the scruffy lines when you zoom in (if you do ;D ), and it may look shiny as I filled them all in in black biro..hehehe not such a great idea, next time I'll use ink. So I have learnt something. ty for looking
